I like to think of myself as a thriving artist. After all, you are what you think! My intention as an artist is simple. I strive to be true to myself while encouraging other human beings to thrive as I create art along the way! #dancesingthrive
Bio
April Holloway is a dancer, singer, choreographer and all around performer. As a native of the Washington DC metro area (known for its culture with relationship to the arts), April began to cultivate her interest for dance at an early age. This interest eventually blossomed into a passion that followed her into young adulthood. After graduating from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport Science, April spent a summer at The Ailey School on a full scholarship. While studying dance in New York, she discovered her true love for Musical Theater. Her favorite credits include Bill T. Jones’ Superfly (Ensemble), Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular (Vocalist/Dancer), Memphis (u/s Felicia),Chicago (June), The Music Man (Ensemble), Wycliffe Gordon’s Jazz A la Carte (Dancer), Oprah Winfrey’s Trip of a Lifetime (Dancer), and Aladdin on Broadway (Dancer).
